Taylor Swift announced her next single, and fans have mixed feelings about it

Even though Bad Blood is still at the top of the airplay charts, it’s almost time for Taylor Swift to put out another hit (it’s pretty safe to assume it’ll have that adjective) single from 1989.

As soon as I tweeted out Taylor’s announcement, fans had a variety of reactions.


“Wildest Dreams” follows “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” “Style” and her “Bad Blood” remix with Kendrick Lamar. By the way, all of those songs went to #1 except for “Style,” which peaked at #6 on the Billboard charts. The record for most #1s off one album currently belongs to Katy Perry and Michael Jackson, who both had five. Could Taylor be vying for the record?
