He’s become quite the family man since marrying Laura Gallacher and has two children, Mabel, two and another daughter, whose name he hasn’t revealed, aged one.
And Russell Brand appeared in good spirits as he sat on a stool and read to families in a tent at Port Eliot Festival in Cornwall on Saturday.
The comedian, 44, cut a casual figure in a white T-shirt and patterned trousers, which he teamed with a pair of loafers and tied his long locks into a bun.
Russell was surrounded by a sea of people as he pulled animated faces during his reading of the day’s chosen bedtime story.
The Get Him To The Greek star married Laura in August 2017 at an intimate service near their Henley-on-Thames home.
The couple celebrated Laura’s 32nd birthday last month, with the entrepreneur sharing a snap of her sprinkle covered cake on Instagram.
Alongside the snap, she wrote: ‘Thank you all for my birthday wishes!! Love you all very much. Also loved this cake!’
Laura, who is the younger sister of presenter Kirsty Gallacher, has her own fashion brand where she sells dungarees.
Russell previously told how he has never spent 24 hours alone with their two daughters because their mother is more suited to the role.
Speaking to the Sunday Times, he said: ‘She wouldn’t go away for 24 hours, Laura.
‘Laura’s able to sustain and maintain domesticity in a way that’s astonishing. I didn’t have much experience of how to organise domesticity. I do whatever I’m told.
‘It turns out that she is extremely well versed in the nuances and complexities of child-rearing.’
He admitted he is ‘too sensitive’ to change nappies and his ‘romantic, reflective, religious world view’ prevents him from being a full-time parent.
Russell was previously married to American popstar Katy Perry, 34, from 2010 until 2012.
