Leslie Jones is back on Twitter following a website hack that is now under investigation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Late last month, Jones’s personal website JustLeslie.com was hacked to show explicit photos and personal information. In addition to publicly displaying personal iCloud photos, her passport and driver’s license, the hackers also posted a picture of a gorilla on her site. Soon after the hack, the site was taken down.
Several celebrities, including Katy Perry, Ellen DeGeneres, Lena Dunham and Gabourey Sidibe, shared their love and support for Jones. And in an interview with at the VMAs, Jones’s former Saturday Night Live costar Jay Pharoah told Entertainment Tonight, “That is my friend. People need to leave her alone.”
Jones took some time to thank her friends and fans for their support in a triumphant return to social media on Sunday.
