Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly get suited and booted as they hop out of a black cab while filming sequence for Britain’s Got Talent live shows

The live shows are set to start on Bank Holiday Monday with many hopefuls hoping the public gets behind them so they can make it to the final.

And Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 43, have been spotted getting ready for the live segments as they filmed the opening sequence outside the Hammersmith Apollo in London on Saturday.

The comic duo looked in high spirits as they sported three-piece black suits with crisp white shirts underneath.

They both completed their smart look with black ties and pocket squares as they hoped out of a black cab to enter the venue whilst grasping onto microphones.

Dec selected brown loafers and Ant kept it classic with black leather brogues.

The dapper pair were both cleanly shaven and had their hair styled in neat coifs to ensure they were camera ready.

The TV presenters looked in their element as they laughed with one another and smiled at fans who spotted them inside the taxi.

Ready to rumble, the pair skipped out of the vehicle to be greeted by hoards of fans who snapped pictures of the pair.

Ant and Dec’s appearance follows on from them secretly auditioned for the show during the final auditions before the live semi-finals on Saturday night.

The presenters took to the stage alongside Britain’s Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern, 42, disguised as dogs.

And judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams were left stunned as the identity of the dancing canines were eventually revealed.

The trio took to the stage to perform a humorous dance routine, dancing to tunes including YMCA and Elvis Presley’s Hound dog, even getting an oblivious Amanda and Alesha to join in on the act and dance upon the judges table.

The group, named Disco Dogs, kept their identity hidden by failing to speak as they were introduced.

The rowdy routine finished with a shower of confetti and a standing ovation from the audience.

Judging the audition, unaware of who was behind the costumes, Simon said: ‘This is the sort of thing my son Eric would love.’

While David stated it was ‘Pure Britain’s Got Talent’.

But after getting four yeses, or ‘woofs’, from the judges, the trio then shocked by removing the costumes and revealing who they really were.

The judges were left dumbfounded by the revelation.

Britain’s Got Talent kicks off the live semi-finals on Monday at 7:30pm on ITV.
